about

This Cool Electric Blue mini-album marked my return to professional level recording after a 40 year hiatus. This would not have happened if it wasn't for Eric S Anderson. Eric played bass, keyboards, and produced the recordings. In the 90's Eric ran Pachyderm Studios and recorded Nirvavna (In Utero) Soul Asylum (Grave Dancers Union) P.J. Harvey, Killing Joke, and many other top acts. His musical skill and production expertise as well as his personal support made this whole project possible. Thank you Eric!

WORDS

The day I had to leave I wanted to stay
But neither of us knew what to say
Somehow the words got stuck in the space
Between my heart and that look on your face

I know there comes a time when one of us must say
It’s time to call it quits, I guess it ends this way

The day I had to leave I wanted to stay
But neither of us knew what to say
Somehow the words got stuck in the space
Between my heart and that look on your face

I know there comes a time when one of us must go
It’s time to call it quits, I guess ah, yes I know

So often reasons are not cut, not cut and dried
Like makeup tracks made by the tears that you cried

All I want to say
Is everything that I can’t anyway
For words have choked my breath away
The more I try to speak, the less I say
The more I try to speak, the less I say
The more I try to speak, the less I say
